Saw GrownUps 2 last week with my son and nephews, very funny with them just crackin on everybody. World War Z was good, not as good as the book, but I say that about any movie I see after reading the book. Zombies were intense in it, not like the ones in Walking Dead. Just saw R.I.P.D., and it was terrible. Reviews were right, a poor mans Men In Black, very poor mans. Funniest part was after the movie when my son apologized for farting, I or my bro-inlaws didn't smell anything because we were sitting in a row in front of them. My nephew and niece did though. My nephew said they were pretty bad and he kept looking at the girls sitting behind them thinking it was them. Lol.

The original is one of the best movies ever. The fight seen with a hammer is an absolute classic

Ever since I was old enough to watch R rated films, I have been told I should see The Shining. My wife loves scary movies. We just watched it. I think when I asked her what she thought of it she hit the nail on the head. She said, "well, I didn't suck" I was crackin up. IMO, it was a waste of two hours and twenty minutes. Very slow moving, slightly creepy, and ain't-climactic. I you have never seen it, I would say don't bother.

lol

If she wants to check out the Evil Dead remake (reboot?), avoid that one too..

Red was surprisingly good to me too. Once I saw Mary Louise Parker, I pretty much had to watch it... and it ended up being way better than I thought it would be. The trailers etc looked cheesy, but when it was, it was funny and obvious they meant it that way. John Malkovich was funny as hell. In reply to sccooke

@Cookie: My brother in law saw the Evil Dead remake and said it was really good. I'm going to DL it and piss myself watching it tonight if SG keeps crashing.

Lots of movies coming out right now. The Worlds End looks freaking hilarious. It was produced by the guys that did Hot Fuzz and Shawn of the Dead. Got 96% rating on rottentomatoes. Anyone see Kick Ass 2 yet? Heard bad things.....

Watched Great Gatsby with the GF a few days ago. Really good movie. Dicaprio is a fantastic actor.

We did see the evil dead remake. I found it to be gory not scary. Major dissapointment. My suggestion is to avoid it. Knees, did you end up watching it?

The newest one I've seen was This is Forty. It wasn't my favorite, but I lmao quite few times. Worth seeing for sure, especially for GZR's.

The wife and I just watched "Now You See Me" it was really good. All star cast; Morgan Freeman, Ilsa Fisher, Woody Harelson, and a few others I recognize but don't know the names of. It keeps you guessing till the end. Worth way more than the $1.27 we payed redbox to rent it. Check it out.

If you like suspense, action, and or zombie movies, go rent World War Z. Had me on the edge of my seat last night.

I watched The Family the other weekend. It has De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Tommy Lee Jones. It was so so.. Not too funny but not too serious either.. Don't remember a whole lot about it...

Meatshield. Nuff said.

Yeah it good...found it entertaining and it kept my interest throughout the whole time.

Not sure why the 'old' spock was in the movie and why they didnt rebuild the ship to the new and improved version though Emoticon

I saw Oblivion last night. Good flick. However, when it ends and you have to explain it to your wife it takes something away. Lol
